Alfredo is a loved dish for its creamy and cheesy flavor. Take your alfredo to the next level with the rich umami flavor of Black Truffle, so good it’ll make your mouth water every time you think about it. This alfredo recipe is quicker and easier as it doesn’t use a roux and will come together as fast as it takes to cook the pasta!
Ingredients
-
1lb Busiate Pasta
-
1 Pasta Rocks
-
3 Tbsp Black Truffle Infused Olive Oil
-
1 cup Heavy Cream
-
1 cup Parmesan Cheese, finely grated
-
2 tsp Parmesan Asiago Dipper & Seasoning
-
½ tsp Black Truffle Sea Salt
Directions
Bring 4 quarts of water to a boil. Season with 1 pasta rock according to package directions. Add pasta and cook to package directions. Drain and cover until ready to use.
In a medium saucepan over high heat add olive oil and cream. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to medium low. Slowly whisk in parmesan cheese until combined. Add dipper and truffle sea salt.
If the sauce is too thick or becomes clumpy add 1-2 tbsp of pasta water to smooth sauce.
Add pasta to pan and stir to combine. Serve immediately.
Recipe Note
If you don't have Pasta Rocks on hand it is still important to season your pasta water! Salting the water is the only time the pasta itself is going to be seasoned so make sure your water is salty like the sea. We reccomend adding 1 Tbsp of salt for every 4 quarts of water.

We made this recipe and everyone from 9 to 44 in our home raves about the taste. The 9 year old insisted on eating the left-overs the night after verses what we had prepared. Delicious, or as our 9 years old states, “This is amazing!”
