Caprese salad incorporates the colors of the Italian flag with red tomatoes, white mozzarella, and green basil, making this dish a true Italian classic!
This dish comes together in minutes and is a great to bring to a potluck or pair with a crusty baguette and glass of wine for a Friday night dinner. Finished with our Barrel Aged Dark Balsamic Vinegar, this recipe is sweet, tangy, herbaceous, and creamy!

4 Tomatoes On The Vine

2 Tbsp Barrel Aged Dark Thick Sweet Balsamic

1 Tbsp Il Cavallino Extra Virgin Olive Oil

10 Basil Leaves, chiffonade cut

2 tsp Rainbow Sea Salt, ground
Directions
Slice mozzarella and tomatoes into ¼” thick pieces. On a serving platter layer tomatoes and mozzarella by rotating between each one.
Drizzle mozzarella and tomatoes with vinegar and olive oil.
Top salad with basil and sea salt. Serve immediately.
